Delivery Process

Order & Dispatch Emails

  • Order acknowledgement email: After you place an order, you will receive an email confirming the details of the products ordered. This is not an order confirmation or acceptance.

  • Dispatch confirmation email: When your order leaves our warehouse, we will send a dispatch email. Your contract with us is formed when the dispatch email is sent.

All items are supplied in high-quality jewellery packaging.

Delivery Timeframes

  • Processing time: We typically dispatch within 1–2 working days (Monday–Friday, excluding public holidays).

  • Estimated delivery after dispatch (Republic of Ireland): usually 1–5 working days (non-binding estimate).

  • Legal backstop: Unless we agree otherwise with you in writing, we will deliver your order within 30 days of the dispatch confirmation email. If we cannot meet this, we will contact you to offer a revised date or a refund where applicable.

If delivery by a specific date is essential, please tell us before placing your order so we can confirm feasibility.

Delivery Charges

  • Republic of Ireland: €10 flat rate on all orders.
    (If we offer international delivery at checkout, additional charges and terms may apply—see “International Delivery” below.)

Delivery Area & Attempts

  • We deliver to addresses within the Republic of Ireland.

  • Our carrier may make one or more delivery attempts. If delivery fails and the parcel is returned to us, we will contact you to arrange re-delivery (charged at €10) or a refund minus the original shipping charge, unless the failure was caused by our error.

Tracking & Proof of Delivery

  • Where available, a tracking link will be provided in your dispatch email.

  • A signature or delivery scan may be required. Delivery to a concierge/reception, neighbour, or agreed safe place will be deemed delivered.

Address Changes & Delivery Instructions

  • For security, we cannot change the delivery address after dispatch. If you need to amend details before dispatch, contact info@goldjewellery.ie promptly.

  • Deliveries to PO Boxes or Parcel Motels/Lockers may be restricted.

Risk & Title

  • Risk in the goods passes to you upon delivery to the address you provided.

  • Title/ownership passes once we receive full payment, including all applicable delivery charges.

Damaged, Missing or Incorrect Items

  • Please inspect your parcel on delivery. If something is damaged, missing, or incorrect, notify us within 48 hours at info@goldjewellery.ie with your order number and photos (if damaged). This does not affect your statutory rights.

International Delivery (if offered at checkout)

  • Orders delivered outside the Republic of Ireland may be subject to import duties/taxes payable on arrival. These are your responsibility; we cannot predict the amount.

  • Local standards, labelling, or service/warranty options may differ by country.

  • Your bank or card provider sets any exchange rates/fees.

Your Right to Cancel (Consumers)

  • You may cancel under the European Union (Consumer Information, Cancellation and Other Rights) Regulations 2013 within 14 days from the day you (or a third party other than the carrier) receive the goods (or the last item in a multi-parcel order).

  • Exceptions: Bespoke/personalised items and sealed items unsuitable for return for health/hygiene reasons once unsealed (e.g., certain pierced jewellery).

  • To cancel, email info@goldjewellery.ie with your order number.

  • If already delivered, return items within 14 days of telling us you’re cancelling. You are responsible for return postage unless the goods are faulty or misdescribed. Use a tracked service and keep proof of postage.

  • Refunds are made to the original payment method and may be reduced for handling beyond what’s necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods (as in a shop).

Returns (Change of Mind)

  • Separate from the statutory cancellation right above, we offer a 14-day money-back guarantee and 30-day exchange for eligible items returned unused, in original condition and packaging, with dispatch paperwork. Exclusions apply to bespoke/personalised and hygiene-sealed items once unsealed.

Events Outside Our Control

  • Delivery may be delayed by events outside our reasonable control (e.g., severe weather, carrier disruption). We will keep you informed and minimise delay.
